Install PCB Weaver on your PC

Run PCB Weaver as a standalone desktop app. The full schematic, PCB layout, and 3D editor are bundled — once installed, you can launch it from your applications menu and keep designing without a browser tab.

Windows

Unzip and run PCBWeaver.exe. No installer required.

macOS (Intel)

Unzip and drag PCBWeaver.app into Applications. On first launch, right-click → Open to bypass Gatekeeper (app is not notarized).

Linux

Unzip, then run ./PCBWeaver inside the extracted folder.

How it works offline

• The desktop build wraps the same editor you use in the browser, with a persistent local cache so the schematic, PCB, 3D viewer, DRC, and Gerber export keep working without an internet connection after first launch.
• Projects are saved to your computer (browser local storage inside the app, or exported as .json via the project manager).
• The AI assistant requires an internet connection — everything else runs locally.

Install steps

Download the zip for your operating system above.
Right-click the downloaded file and choose “Extract All” (Windows) or unzip it (macOS / Linux).
Open the extracted folder and launch PCBWeaver (PCBWeaver.exe on Windows, PCBWeaver.app on macOS, ./PCBWeaver on Linux).
Pin the app to your taskbar / dock for one-click access next time.
